Paris Fashion Week sunglasses tell you where a season is going before the clothes do. The womenswear shows for Spring/Summer 2027 opened on 28 September, and the first thing worth writing down was not a hemline. It was Rosalía, walking into the week in a single-lens visor that covered half her face and made a grey cardigan look like a decision.
That look has a back story. When the Paris menswear shows ran in June, the front rows split into two camps. One went dark and graphic: shields and wraparounds with coloured lenses, the kind of frame that reads as gear. The other went quietly classic: black acetate, squared off, worn with tailoring and nothing else to prove.
Both camps are still on the street this week. What connects them is proportion. The frames are either big enough to be the whole point, or neat enough that they disappear into the outfit. The middle ground, the polite medium-sized pair you forget you are wearing, is not where Paris is looking right now.
Below are the looks we keep coming back to, and the Vibes frames that get you closest to each one. We matched on shape first, then on how much of the face the frame takes up, because that is what your eye actually reads in a photo.

Kate Moss, Saint Laurent men's SS27 show
Kate Moss arrived at Saint Laurent in a black square frame with slender acetate, the Saint Laurent SL 851. It is the least showy pair in this edit and the one that will outlast the season. The square is doing the structure, the thin rim keeps it from turning heavy, and black on black means it goes with whatever you pull on in the morning. Vesper is the closest read in the range: a squared-off front with a solid lens. Sasha takes the same shape and adds a mirror if you want it to catch the light.

Leo Reich, Dior men's SS27 show
At Dior, Leo Reich wore the DiorSymbol wraparound in black with yellow lenses. It was the most technical-looking frame of the menswear week, and the colour is what made it work: a sport shape with a lens that reads as fashion rather than function. The wraparound curve is the thing to copy. Flux and Nova both follow the face around to the temple the same way, and both come in mirrored lenses that do the same job as that flash of yellow.

Questions
What sunglasses are trending at Paris Fashion Week SS27?
Two directions are running side by side. The first is big and graphic: single-lens shields, visors and wraparounds, often with coloured or mirrored lenses, seen on Rosalía this week and at Dior and Celine in June. The second is black acetate in a square or wayfarer shape, worn at Saint Laurent by Kate Moss and Charlotte Gainsbourg. What has dropped out is the in-between, medium-sized frame with no strong shape.
What is the difference between shield and wraparound sunglasses?
A shield has one continuous lens across both eyes, with no bridge splitting it in two, so it reads as a single visor. A wraparound can have one lens or two, but the frame curves back around the side of the face toward the temple. Many frames do both, which is why the terms get mixed up. If the front is one flat panel, call it a shield. If the defining feature is the curve round the side, it is a wraparound.
Are black square sunglasses still in style for 2027?
Yes. Black square acetate is the frame Saint Laurent keeps coming back to, and it was all over the June menswear front rows. It works because it adds structure to the face without adding colour, so it sits with tailoring, denim or a slip dress equally well. If your face is already angular, a slightly softened square or a wayfarer is the easier version to wear.
